Are you looking for a meaningful way to help your neighbors? Come help at the upcoming Texas Ramp Project on Saturday, April 5! The Texas Ramp Project is dedicated to constructing wheelchair ramps to assist individuals facing mobility challenges. These ramps significantly enhance people’s lives by providing them the freedom to enter and exit their homes safely and independently. You don’t need to be a carpenter or construction expert to help! We welcome volunteers of all skill levels. Experienced team leaders will provide guidance and all necessary tools.

Why This Matters
For someone who uses a wheelchair or has trouble with stairs, even a few steps can become a major barrier. A properly built ramp turns that barrier into a gateway, allowing people to:
- Visit friends and family
- Attend medical appointments
- Go shopping
- Enjoy community activities
- Live with dignity and independence
Community in Action
This build isn’t just about constructing ramps—it’s about building a stronger community where everyone belongs. Working together on these projects creates lasting bonds while making our neighborhood more accessible for everyone.
If you’re interested in volunteering or have questions, please contact Spike Hubenak at spikehube@sbcglobal.net. Together, we can make our community more accessible, one ramp at a time!
