There is a place for you to grow in faith, share your talents, and enjoy fellowship in community here in this place of grace. Pastor Steve challenges every member to find a learning group to engage with. The adult faith journey needs regular attention and support to stay strong in our baptismal call to share the Gospel in all we say and do.
Study groups
The Journey
Through this Bible study, participants gain deeper understanding of who God is and what we are called to do in the world. Based on the “Books of Faith” series, conversations explore the historical, literary, devotional and Lutheran context of a selected book of the Bible over a series of several sessions.
Women’s Monday Night Study Group
This group meets regularly, typically using a topical video series with study guides and discussion. Topics change regularly and generally run for 4-6 weeks. Check the church calendar for the current topic and materials.
Topical Book Discussions
These studies always offer new ways to look at current or historical topics in relation to our faith and our path in the world at large. Recent studies included Scott Sauls’ A Gentle Answer and Derek Cooper’s Twenty Questions that Shaped World Christian History. The variety of topics help us as Christians face stumbling blocks and point to new ways to share our faith in our daily lives.
Monday Coffee with Pastor Steve
Join Pastor Steve for coffee and conversation Monday mornings. Explore how God’s Word resonates with our life in community through group discussion around the previous week’s sermon and upcoming Gospel texts.
