The Longest Night: A Blue Christmas Worship
For some, the holidays don’t feel joyful. Perhaps the stress of the season takes its toll, or your family doesn’t get along. Perhaps you have suffered loss, or perhaps you’re struggling with depression or anxiety. There are a number of reasons why people don’t feel joyful at Christmas, or throughout the holidays.
December 21 is the longest night of the year…when the northern hemisphere lives in darkness more than any other day.
On this night, you are invited to Abiding Presence for a Blue Christmas worship of lament, hope and healing. For those struggling with the season, for those who find joy AND sadness all mixed together during the holidays, or for those who simply wish to love and support each other, come and worship on the longest night.
