Sunday school learning is for everyone.
Classes are offered for groups of all ages during the time between Sunday worship services, beginning at 10:00. Come hear new perspectives on old stories and learn how God works in our lives each day. (Sunday school meets during the regular school year and takes a summer break June to August.)
Pre K and Elementary Children
Children ages 3 – 5th grade meet in small groups to hear and experience the scripture lessons for the week in a way appropriate to their learning level. Our youngest learn through storytelling, acting, games, and crafts and grow in faith building relationships with their peers and adult teachers.
While these groups have adult leaders who teach each week, we also invite parents, grandparents, and anyone with a love for sharing your faith with young ones to come and be a “Special Guest” during the Sunday School time. Special guests share music, art, science, or games in a way that enriches the lesson for the day.
Middle and High School Students
Older students gather for spirited discussion of the lessons for the week and share how God is working in our lives by studying and praying together.
Adult Sunday School topics change regularly and include a wide variety of topics that help bring scripture alive by sharing our reactions and responses to the Word and to God’s work in our lives.
Corinthians: The Mini-Series
Beginning January 14 we’re starting a four week series on the book of Corinthians. What is Paul saying in his letter to the Corinthians and why is he addressing these issues? This class will take a close look at the words and context of Paul’s writing, understand its meaning for those in the community he was addressing and apply the overall meaning to our own personal faith journey.
