Sunday school learning is for everyone.
During Summer, two class groups are offered:
Children of all ages, parents, grandparents, friends, aunts and uncles – all are welcome. Come discover through story and song, scripture and craft what we mean by sharing the “Good News.” This group will work together on service projects and create a large art piece that will symbolize this community’s commitment to taking the good news out of these walls and into the world.
Adult Sunday School
Scripturally the same as our multi-generational class, but with deeper focus on how scripture points us to Seek God and Serve Others. This group will also participate in the service projects and community art piece.
During the academic school year, classes are offered for groups of all ages between Sunday worship services, 10:00-10:45. Come hear new perspectives on old stories and learn how God works in our lives each day.
Pre K and Elementary Children
Children ages 3 – 5th grade meet in small groups to hear and experience the scripture lessons for the week in a way appropriate to their learning level. Our youngest learn through storytelling, acting, games, and crafts and grow in faith building relationships with their peers and adult teachers.
While these groups have adult leaders who teach each week, we also invite parents, grandparents, and anyone with a love for sharing your faith with young ones to come and be a “Special Guest” during the Sunday School time. Special guests share music, art, science, or games in a way that enriches the lesson for the day.
Middle and High School Students
Older students gather for spirited discussion of the lessons for the week and share how God is working in our lives by studying and praying together.
Adult Sunday School topics change regularly and include a wide variety of formats that help bring scripture alive by sharing our reactions and responses to the Word and to God’s work in our lives.
