Congregational Care & Fellowship
Many fellowship opportunities involve food and happen around a table at Abiding Presence. Each Sunday morning, members and guests enjoy a hearty breakfast prepared and served by our men’s breakfast teams. Individuals and couples share small group fellowship in Salt Shaker Dinner Groups. Families enjoy “time away” at spring and fall retreats. And, the entire congregation enjoys worship and fellowship together at our spring picnic and fall festival.
Life brings challenge. When babies are born, a hospitalization occurs, or God calls a loved one home, CARE ministry provides meals for families learning to live life in new ways. When there are events, people, or circumstances that trouble you, our prayer ministry serves to raise a multitude of prayers seeking God’s presence. When even that doesn’t seem enough, consider the Stephen Ministry of Abiding Presence. This ministry provides caregivers to walk with those who are homebound, sick, dying, depressed or just need a person to talk to. Stephen Ministers are available for one-to-one Christian care.
