When a child loses his parent, they are called an orphan. When a spouse loses her or his partner, they are called a widow or widower. When parents lose their child, there isn’t a word to describe them.

This event is open to anyone who has lost a child in pregnancy or infancy and those who mourn with them. This special day of remembrance recognizes the loss so many parents experience across the United States and around the world

Everyone is invited to light a candle at 7:00 pm in ALL time zones. Keeping the candles burning for at least one hour means there will be a continuous WAVE OF LIGHT over the entire world on October 15th, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
