“God’s Work. Our Hands.” Days of Service

10 Sep 2017 | 12:00 pm - 02:00 pm

An annual opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America — one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.  On this day, thousands of members of ELCA churches dedicate time to go out and serve in the community in ways that share the love of God with all people.

This year APLC members will serve on the weekend of September 9 – 10.

We are organizing service projects in the community and here at APLC so that there will be multiple opportunities welcoming all ages and abilities.

Whichever project you choose, your service activities offer an opportunity for us to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: That all of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.
